Who is Evan Davis?
Born on April 8, 1962 in Worcestershire Evan Davis is an economist, journalist, and presenter for the BBC.
He is best known for the BBC One show Dragons' Den, which he has hosted since 2005.
Evan kicked off his career for the BBC in 1993 as a economics correspondent.
First forward eight years to 2001 and he took over from Peter Jay as the BBC's economics editor - and he's been climbing the ladder at the Beeb ever since.

As economics editor, Evan was responsible for reporting and analysing economic developments on a range of programmes on BBC radio and television, particularly the Ten O'Clock News.
He also had a role in shaping the extensive BBC coverage of economics across all the corporation's outputs, including online.
Evan left this post in 2008 to become a presenter on BBC Radio 4's Today programme.
But in 2014, he left Today to be the main presenter of Newsnight for four years.
Since 2018 Evan has presented Radio 4's PM programme.
