Inside Alison Hammond’s huge new panel show for Sky inspired by iconic programme as two co-hosts are revealed
ALISON Hammond is so popular you can now watch her on nearly every channel.
Having impressed on ITV co-hosting This Morning and her judging role on BBC1 talent show I Can See Your Voice, she’s now been snapped up by Sky to be a team captain on a new TV-themed comedy game show.
I told in December how the daytime darling had been snapped up by the broadcaster for a panel format.
In the new show, which is called On Demand, Alison will go up against comedian Josh Widdicombe while hosting duties lie with Rob Beckett.
The show will be very much in the mould of music show and fellow Sky Max series Never Mind The Buzzcocks, so expect plenty of close to the knuckle gags.
And there’ll be some big names from the world of telly sitting alongside Alison and Josh on their panels.

Alison says about the pilot: “This will be my first time working with Sky so I’m thrilled to be finally joining the family.
“We all know that I love a bit of telly – when I’m not actually on it, I’m watching it – so I’m going to apply everything I know and have learned over the years and go for the win.
“Watch out Josh babs.”

The former England footballers turned pundits will be joined by comedian Romesh Ranganathan on the six-part A League of Their Own: South East Asian Road Trip, starting on February 17.
They are taking their Sky panel show out of the UK for the first time in two years.
The lads will be joined by special guests along the way, including Alan Carr and chef Big Zuu for a supersized synchronised swimming challenge, and Emily Atack and Joel Dommett, who are learning the ancient martial art of Muay Thai with them.
As captains of ALOTO, Jamie and Micah will be competing against each other throughout the six episodes, as host Romesh lays down the challenges.
And the loser has to fulfil an almighty forfeit, making their stand-up comedy debut opening for Alan at London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo.
The lads will return for an 18th studio series later in the autumn.

GURLAINE KAUR GARCHA has quit EastEnders after three years.
The actress, who plays bisexual doctor Ash Panesar in the BBC1 soap, will leave in the coming weeks during a low-key storyline.
A source said: “Gurlaine’s loved her time on the show but she’s ready to try new things.”
Kath: Fun lie being pigeon
KEEPING The Masked Singer’s secrets is a big challenge.
But things got even tougher for Katherine Ryan at home after she was unmasked as Pigeon on Saturday’s episode.
The comedian got stick from her daughter for not telling the truth about her involvement in the show.
She said: “My teenager Violet thought it was ridiculous that I lied to her. But I think it’s a good example of a fun lie as there are very few surprises in life.
“And I think that I’ve been truthful throughout so much of our relationship that I’ve earned one white lie.”
