A FORMER Love Island star has hit out that bosses are "editing out" secret chats between Islanders who aren't coupled up.
The ITV2 dating show star – who was brutally dumped from the show this year – revealed that producers are hiding two of the show's current stars' conversations.
David Salako, who was the first Winter Love Island star to leave the new series, spilled the beans in a new podcast episode.
The dating show hopeful sat down with Will Njobvu to tell the behind-the-scenes secrets, including conversations that had been "edited out" of the show.
David, 24, revealed that while they haven't been seen much on screen, Zara Lackenby-Brown and Shaq Muhammad have had plenty of conversations.
Fans were left furious earlier this week when Shaq, 24, was seen flirting with Zara, 25, for what looked like the first time.

His partner Tanya Manhenga was seen pulling him up on the chat, as viewers fumed Zara was trying to "steal" him.
But now, former contestant David has revealed that Shaq and Zara have spoken many times, but the chats have never made it into the show.
Speaking on the podcast, he said: "I don't know how much was shown but him and Zara have had a lot of conversations."
Hinting that much of Zara and Shaq's discussions have been edited out, he added that they "had conversations on Zara's first day"

It comes after fans fumed over Zara, dubbing her a "game playing" Islander for trying to "steal" ANOTHER man.
They thought they spotted Zara making moves for Shaq, which appeared to be out of the blue.
Viewers were concerned Zara was trying to steal Shaq from Tanya, and hit out she was "playing a game".
One wrote: "Zara is playing a game. How can one go from 'why she all over my man' to moving to another man in 12h."
A second said: "Nah, Zara we were actually defending you and rooting for you and this is what you’re doing?"
"She's going after her only friends' man?" a third said, while a fourth added: "Never trusted Zara, she’s very devious."
A fifth hit out they wouldn't "defend Zara" any more, saying: "Can’t lie I can’t ride for Zara no more. She's on her own now."
