And actress Patsy Kensit made her EastEnders debut as the mum - and fans were baffled by her youthful appearance.

Determined to live her life to the fullest despite being terminally ill, the beloved hairdresser played by Danielle Harold was ready to tie the knot with Jay Brown.
Meanwhile, after getting wind of her dying wish, Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) decided to track down her long-lost mother Emma Harding.
Patsy Kensit thus made her long-awaited appearance as the new character in drama-packed scenes.

Billy Mitchell took it upon himself to tell Emma who he was and broke the news that her daughter was on the verge of getting married.

This prompted her and Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) to take a detour to the hospital for her to get checked out while sporting her wedding dress.
Lola was thrown into a panic about her future, convinced she was going to die any minute.
And just as Kim begged her to make the most of every moment she had left, Lola admitted she was unable to marry Jay.
