Emmerdale fans horrified as David Metcalfe makes drastic decision
EMMERDALE fans are horrified after David Metcalfe made a drastic decision tonight.
The shopkeeper - who is played by actor Matthew Wolfenden in the ITV soap - was due to go on a night away with his two youngest children Amba and Theo.

But after he found out ex Priya Sharma was moving to London with Amba, David, naturally, decided to kidnap Amba.
“When were you thinking of telling me?” he thundered storming into her cottage.
“I’ve just had to hear it from Leyla.”
As Priya tried to defend herself, David insisted he would take her to court to keep his daughter in the village.

She warned him: “Fine, drag me through the courts if you must, but Amba is coming with me.”
Later when he returned, he pretended he was fine with it all.
“It was just a bit of a shock is all,” he told Priya as he packed up Amba’s things for their night away.
But in the car Amba said: “Mummy’s taking me on a forever adventure.”

And David changed his mind. Revealing he had Amba’s passport with him, he drove off, telling his daughter: “How do you fancy going on a proper adventure?
“Wave goodbye to mummy.”
With that he drove off - and had no intention of returning, leaving fans horrified.
One wrote: "And like the idiot David is, his gonna make more problems for himself...you have now lost shared custody bruv."
A second said: "Seriously when is David going to leave Emmerdale."
A third wrote: "David’s never really given a s**t about Amber, yet now he’s going to kidnap her."
