Dancing On Ice returned to our screens last Sunday, but Darren is due to make his debut on the rink this weekend.

Over the past few months he's been training hard, but there have been a few slip-ups along the way.

Speaking on , the comedian revealed all the nasty injuries he's suffered with - and they've helped him grow as a skater.

Host Shayna Marie asked him what his biggest fear is when skating.

Darren said: "My biggest fear, I don’t really have it anymore, all my fears are now sort of gone, because I’ve fallen on the ice countless times, I’ve got whiplash, yesterday I sliced my arm open with my partners blade, they had to glue my forearm together.

"What other fears are there! Maybe I fall through the ice? That’s all that’s left.

"Whiplash, there’s a bit of bone sticking out here..."

He added: "I’m telling you this show is wild dude, you’ve got to watch the show on Sunday."

Darren also spoke about his co-star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu's performance over the weekend, which landed her in the bottom two.

The Love Island star gave a bold performance wearing a all-in-one jewelled bodysuit to Britney Spears' Toxic.

At one point she crawled a long the ice - and viewers made a comparison to when she did it in the iconic villa.

He confessed: "Listen, I said to Ekin-Su, "make sure you really go for the crawl.”

Darren added: "And she gave it everything I loved it."

It comes after the star revealed he suffered a nasty injury just days before his first live performance.

The comedian posted a picture of a gory gash on his arm on Instagram after visiting the show medic.

Darren, who is partnered with skating pro Tippy Packard, wrote: "Blade sliced my arm open during a lift...we think, we don't even know how it happened I didn't feel it..we just saw the blood lol."

But it isn't enough to keep Darren off the ice, with him adding: "Still all good for Sunday!".
