SAS Who Dares Wins Jason Fox has revealed that Matt Hancock got 'special treatment' on the show.
The Special Forces DS sat down with Gordon Smart to discuss the latest series of the celebrity-edition of the show.
Jason, 46, who oversees the tough screening process the celebrities are put through on the Channel 4 show, revealed some of the behind-the-scenes secrets from the new series.
Chatting to the Scottish broadcaster on his podcast with Martin Compton, the ex-army star revealed one celeb got 'special treatment' during filming.
Jason was heard dishing out the details of one contestant who 'everyone knows is doing the show' to Gordon, 42.
As they poked fun at the next round of celebs to take part, the three men appeared to mention Matt, 44.
"There's a celebrity edition featuring the one and only former..." Gordon began, before he was stopped by Jason: "That's not been confirmed yet."
After arguing about whether the news would have broken by the time the episode went out, the trio then poked fun at the former health secretary.
Gordon asked: "Have you ever felt more like water-boarding someone more on the show than someone on the next series of SAS Who Dares Wins?
"It must have been the closest you've been to going, 'Get him in there for the special treatment'."
Not mentioning Matt's name, but passing strong hints, Jason replied: "Well, he got some special treatment - whoever we are talking about..."
It comes after it was revealed that Matt was paid a whopping £45,000 to take part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The Channel 4 series was filmed back in early October last year, before Hancock joined the cast of I’m A Celeb.
The series sees celebs take part in two-weeks of gruelling military training exercises, testing their physical and mental strength.
Channel 4 bosses were reportedly infuriated when news came out that Hancock was off to the jungle.
The move paid off for the West Suffolk MP, who shocked the nation by finishing in third on I'm A Celeb last year.
While Hancock was given £45,000 to do SAS, he received a whopping £400,000 fee for I’m A Celeb.
However, Matt has supposedly suffered a setback to his showbiz career weeks after leaving I'm A Celebrity.
The former health secretary has called off his search for a celebrity agent after struggling to break into the industry, according to the .
The paper reports MP Matt asked his famous pals who he should have represent him, but hasn't been snapped up.
He's said to have hoped to mimic Ed Balls' career after finding success outside of politics on Strictly Come Dancing and hosting Good Morning Britain.
However a spokesman for Mr Hancock insisted it's him who's turned down representation.
They said: "Matt has had lots of offers from agents wanting to represent him, but he's turned them all down as he doesn't want or need an agent."
