BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty had to warn co-host Charlie Stayt to "calm down" three times in an awkward discussion during today's show.
Things became awkward as the pair welcomed sports correspondent Mike Bushell to give viewers the latest sporting news.
Charlie, 60, started the discussion and told Mike: "You never know what's going to happen when two teams play a game."
Mike laughed out at this before responding: "Absolutely right, in this week of shocks with the FA Cup and the League Cup!"
Charlie thanked Mike and the rest of the studio was in fits of laughter.
Mike then hit back at Charlie asking him if he could get his "game face on" for the day like Southampton manager Nathan Jones.

A photo of the footie boss then went up on screen, which showed him clenching his fists with his mouth wide open as he was cheering.
Naga, 47, joked: "That's Charlie every morning!"
Mike then quipped back: "That's yawning with Charlie!"
Naga persisted with teasing her co-star, as she said: "Every morning, Charlie's like, 'Aaaargh Breakfast!'"
