EastEnders fans break down in tears at emotional Zack Hudson scenes

EASTENDERS fans are breaking down in tears at the emotional Zack Hudson scenes tonight.

The chef – who is played by actor James Farrar in the BBC soap –  has been given the devastating news he may have HIV.

His old friend Brett turned up in Walford this week with the bombshell news that he had been diagnosed.

“I’m HIV positive,” Brett told him last night.

“You need to get tested. We shared needles don’t forget. And if I’ve got it then you might have it and all.”

In tonight’s episode Zack refused to accept it – insisting he was perfectly healthy.

But as the reality dawned on him, Zack struggled to cope.

As Whitney realised something was wrong, she asked him to open up to her

“I can’t do this, I can’t be a dad,” he said instead.

“I’ll pay my way but don’t expect me to be there for this kid because I’d only end up hurting it.”

Whitney was devastated and Zack sent her away and went into the office of the bar.

Breaking down, he smashed a glass on his hand and saw the blood before falling to the floor sobbing.

Viewers are utterly heartbroken for Zack.

One wrote: “I’m crying. You can do it Zack.”

A second said: “This is so sad, come on Zack you’ve got this.”

Another added: “This is heartbreaking.”
