The property is worth a whopping £2million and is located in Kennington, South West London.

The buyer purchased the eye-catching home in 2021 and it consists of nine floors and comes with big sliding doors.

It was reported that 38,000 gallons of water was used to make it.

Now, a resident that lives opposite the road to this property has revealed that it's not as picturesque as people think it is.

The resident penned that the tower "looks out of place" on the road in a TikTok video they posted.

In the video the local tells the viewers: "So this building is the Water Tower of Grand Designs - look at it, it just sits there out of place amongst all other buildings."

Despite the building looking disconnected, it still has a strong history that dates back to 1876.

It was built in 1867 and was used to provide water to the Lambeth Workhouse which was located near by.
