Khloe Kardashian reunites with ex Tristan Thompson for whirlwind trip to Toronto after his mother Andrea’s sudden death
KHLOE Kardashian has joined her ex-Tristan Thompson for a trip from Los Angeles to Toronto following his mother's death.
Khloe, 38, traveled to Canada with Tristan, 31, on Thursday to be by his family's side.
Photos captured the pair exiting a private jet, looking somber as they each sported dark sweats and beanies.
reported that Tristan's mom, Andrea, hours earlier.
Andrea was rushed to the hospital, though medical experts could not resuscitate her.
Tristan jetted to his home country as soon as possible with Khloe, who was reportedly very close with her children's grandmother.
"Khloe, as with any of the family in these situations, will be supportive to Tristan and by his side during this very difficult time as he is the father of her two children," a source told The U.S. Sun.
It is unknown if the former couple's two kids - a 4-year-old daughter, True, and a 5-month-old son - also made the trip.
Tristan's mother and his father, Trevor, often stay out of the spotlight, but the Canada native has expressed his love for his mother several times over the years.
MOTHER-SON BOND
In 2016, the basketball star opened up about their relationship, revealing that he talked to his mom daily.

“Even though I don’t live at home and I’m four hours away from home, I talk to my mom every day – ask how the kids are doing, ask how she’s doing, too,” he explained via .
“Everyone knows that my mom, she’s very dedicated in taking care of her sons – especially Amari. But at the same time, you need to make sure that she’s ok.
“It’s asking a lot for one parent to do, so I always try to make sure that she’s doing well, too. Whether she’s getting a massage or just get out of the house and have a babysitter watch for a couple hours, that’s crucial.”
CHEATING SCANDAL
Meanwhile, Khloe and Tristan's relationship has been a rollercoaster over the years amid the athlete's numerous cheating scandals.
They called it quits for good last December when news broke that the NBA star had an affair with fitness trainer Maralee Nichols, 31, while exclusively dating Khloe.
Shortly after the bombshell news surfaced, Maralee gave birth to Tristan's son, Theo, whom he supposedly has yet to meet.
Tristan and Khloe were also preparing to welcome their second child after completing a successful egg transfer with a surrogate weeks earlier.
Their son arrived in August, which Khloe shared on the latest season of her family's Hulu series, The Kardashians.
