Amanda opened up and confirmed that the pair are still sharing the duties at Ravenseat Farm and addressed the thoughts that people often have the 'assumption' that 'things are harder' for the former couple.

The couple share nine children together and have been the subject of speculation regarding the current state of their working relationship following the breakdown of the marriage.

She admitted in a chat to The Times: "People assume that because I’m separated from my husband, Clive, things are harder, but in fact it’s the opposite."

Amanda and Clive's marriage broke down in 2021 when The Sun exclusively revealed the pair were on the rocks.

Following confirmation of the split, the pair's joint show Our Yorkshire Farm was axed and instead they were both offered separate shows so that they did not have to film together.

Amanda added to The Times: "It’s pretty hard keeping all the balls in the air, but the reality is that talking about shovelling s*** pays more than shovelling s***. It’s ridiculous, but that’s how it is."

Amanda has been working on her own upcoming travel series for More4, which has likely helped to bump up her earnings, with more thought to be in the pipeline, while ex Clive landed a spin-off show with son Reuben.

Media personality Amanda began her quest for TV fame in 2011 when she and Clive appeared on the short-lived ITV series The Dales.

An appearance on Ben Fogle's Channel 5 programme soon followed before the family were offered their own reality TV series with the network which has so far ran for four seasons.

Amanda has also penned a book as well as attempts at presenting with guest spots on programmes such as This Morning and Steph's Packed Lunch.
