Coronation Street fans seriously distracted by ‘fashion icon’ Roy Cropper’s outfit
CORONATION Street fans were left stunned by show legend Roy Cropper's incredible get-up in the latest episode.
Viewers labelled him a "fashion icon" thanks to the impressive outfit worn while attending his bat-watching group session.
Roy, played by David Neilson, wore a green beanie hat in a departure from his usual style.
He added to his look with a white shirt under a patterned knitted jumper.
The cafe owner topped off his look with a beige coat with a brown collar.
Prepared for all eventualities at the woods for his bat-watching session, Roy could be seen clutching two more coats for the outing.

Fans were loving Roy's look and were quick to praise the outfit online.
One wrote: “Aww Roy in his woolly hat and little flask, he’s prepared…”

There was shock among the characters during tonight's edition of the ITV soap after Nina, played by Mollie Gallagher, got into difficulty while frantically searching for a missing Roy.
Roy was left wandering a lonely woodland area after being unaware the bat group's New Year meeting had been called off.
Unable to contact him by any means, Nina insisted that she, Brian and Asha must head off to the woodland that Roy had already set off to and tell him the news in person.
Upon arrival, Roy was nowhere to be seen causing panic amongst the trio as they sauntered through the trees.
As night began to fall, things took a devastating turn for the worst.
Much to the viewer's terror, Nina spotted Roy's flask, which he had earlier dropped in the lake, floating on the water and fearing that he had drowned, Nina headed down to the water's edge where she took a terrifying tumble.
As she fell, she rolled rapidly down the bank, hitting her head in the process before being left unconscious in the water.
