Stacey Solomon breaks silence after pregnancy announcement and says she’s a ‘lot further along’ than people think

STACEY Solomon has broken her silence after announcing her shock pregnancy.

The TV star, 33, revealed she was expecting her fifth child – her third with Joe Swash - with a video on Instagram earlier this week.

Tonight, Stacey returned to social media and confirmed she was further along than people might think.

She said: “I just wanted to say thank you for all your lovely messages, they are just so nice. Sorry I have been so quiet, I have just been trying to spend as much time as possible with this lot.

"Me and Joe have a few days off so we are just trying to give them loads of attention.

“We actually found out way later then you would usually, so we are way further along than when you would usually tell people. So I was really, really nervous and it was a real surprise, but we are so grateful and really excited for what is to come."

A couple of days ago Stacey shared the news alongside a touching video of her in the bathroom with her pregnancy test.

In the clip she shouts for Joe, telling him: "Come in!"

As she waves the test in his direction he gasps and says: "What are you holding? You're joking."

His wife says "no" as Joe collapses to the floor and gives her a hug.

Stacey captioned her video: "Me + Him = 👦🏻👦🏼👦🏼🧒🏼👧🏼👶 So grateful & can not believe I’m saying this…

"Another little pickle is on the way… 😭 A HUGE surprise, but one that we are so thankful for 🥹 to the moon & back bub @realjoeswashy 🖤🕊"

It makes the fast-growing Solomon-Swashes even bigger, with seven members of the family.

Stacey already has son Rex, three, and daughter Rose, one, with Joe, who himself has a teenage son called Harry.

The TV and Instagram star also has two older children from previous relationships.

Zachary, 14, is Stacey's first son from her relationship with Dean Cox, and she had him when she was 17.

However, they had split by the time the baby was born.

She also has Leighton, 10, whose dad is Aaron Barham, who she split from in 2014, but the youngster is known to use her name.
