Future plans for The Traitor revealed – and it’s a huge update for fans of the BBC hit show
NEW telly hit The Traitors will return for a second series after a phenomenal debut.
The BBC detection game, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, saw players working together to complete a series of spectacular challenges.
Over 12 episodes, “faithful” contestants tried to work out who were the rival “traitors” among them who were out to sabotage efforts and “kill them off”.
The show has now been streamed on iPlayer more than 17million times.
A peak of 3.7million viewers watched the final as it was aired on BBC1 on Thursday night.
The last of the traitors, Wilf, was unmasked at the last moment — resulting in the £101,050 prize fund being split between the “faithful” winners Hannah, Meryl and Aaron.
