Boxing Day EastEnders spoilers: the aftermath of Mick Carter’s exit begins
ACTOR Danny Dyer gave BBC One viewers his final scenes on Christmas Day.
Tonight on EastEnders, the fallout from all the drama begins in Albert Square.
Mick Carter lived his last moments in Walford less than a decade after making his debut in the fictional borough in 2013.
The Vic landlord's swan song played in the midst of his Christmas Day celebrations as his mother Shirley Carter (played by Linda Henry) was determined to expose his partner Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks).
For several months, the villain wreaked havoc for Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) whom she was convinced would steal Mick away from her.
When she spotted Jada Lennox (Kelsey Calladine-Smith) back in the Square, Janine panicked.

In an attempt to keep the youngster away from Linda, Janine invited the latter alongside Shirley to sit at her Christmas table.
Unfortunately for her, Shirley remained just as adamant on exposing her and an explosive row occurred between the two women.
Mick was forced to face reality and was shocked to know everything that had happened behind his back.
This was before he was given a way out of the BBC One soap.
