I’m glad I was booted off of The Traitors – my late mum would’ve been horrified if I’d won the money
THE Traitors’ Amanda Lovett revealed she was glad to be booted off the show - because her late mum would not have approved of her winning the money.
The hit game show hosted by Strictly Come Dancing's Claudia Winkleman, 50, sees 22 contestants enter a castle in the Scottish Highlands, tasked with uncovering their unfaithful counterparts.
The faithful players must uncover the traitors among them before being 'killed' or banished to be in with a shot of winning £120,000.
54-year-old Amanda was one of the original traitors, but was caught out just two episodes before the final despite previously never being suspected by her fellow co-stars.
This led to Hannah, Meryl, and Kieran all questioning her and ultimately voting for her exit. However, it was Wilfred who planted the seed at the roundtable and it was his brutal vote that sealed the deal.
Amanda then had to reveal herself as a Traitor after she received the most votes.

But the contestant said that she "couldn't have done it" if she'd made it to the final and won the money.
She admitted as the show progressed the emotional ties with her team mates made it hard for her to play the game.
Amanda opened up about the challenges she faced while playing the game as she admitted that it "hurt" to see fellow Traitor Wilfred Webster turn against her, but that she was "glad" to be banished.
"I enjoyed the game, the facade, but when you start getting emotionally tied – people are really hurting in there – it's difficult then," The BBC contestant told the Daily Star.

She continued: "Everybody's our 100%, everyone was my 100% because I knew they were Faithful. So for a Traitor to go all the way and take the money, well, I couldn't have done it, my mother would have shot me from up in heaven, like, 'I haven't brought you up to be like that!'"
The mum-of-five admitted that if she'd have gone to the final she would've never felt good about herself, and she would've wanted to "share the money" with her team mates but she couldn't.
She shared: "I couldn't have done that, I'd have said we're gonna share it, and that's not the game. I'd have gone home and my children would have asked why I'm sharing it, so I just saved a family argument!"
Despite being booted off the show the Welsh estate agent had played a stunning game of deceit in the suspenseful competition.
