GREAT Morning Britain host Richard Madeley has been hit with furious complaints by TV viewers.
The 66-year-old presenter was hit with a wave of Ofcom complaints after his combative interview with RMT union boss Mick Lynch last week.
Richard received 80 complaints for his conduct while interviewing Mick, as viewers condemned his reporting style.
The host appeared incensed with the General Secretary of RMT, during the chat, as he sat down with the rail boss.
He asked Mick: "Whatever happened to Christmas kindness?"
He went on to add in a furious series of questions: "Why do you have to target people at Christmas?
But Mike responded: "Well we're not targeting Christmas, it isn't Christmas yet Richard. I don't know when your Christmas starts but mine starts on Christmas Eve."
As Richard tried to interject, Mike continued: "If you let me finish the question...if you let me finish the answer.
"Richard, you're just talking to yourself at the minute, you're ranting. Richard, you're ranting."
Fans at home were glued to the heated exchange, with many complaining Richard wasn't giving Mick a chance to talk.
One wrote to Twitter: "Well said. GMB presenters need to listen. Richard made himself look very stupid and Kate ignored the point he made and made the same antagonistic point."
Another added: " The strike starts after the closure of the railways and will impact maintenance period. Not commuter/travel period!"
A third said: " Shut him up or better still get rid of him and let #MickLynch answer the questions. #GMB."
It comes as train strikes are set to cause commuter and holiday chaos for people across the UK when members of the RMT union abandon the railways throughout the month.
The series of walkouts ran on December 14, December 16 and December 17 - before starting again on December 24.
