A New Life in the Sun returning to Channel 4 VERY soon – with a game-changing twist
A NEW Life in the Sun's return date has been confirmed - and there's a brand new twist.
The Channel 4 show follows expats as they flee the UK in search of a better life abroad.
As if grappling with moving to a new country wasn't hard enough, the participants are also establishing new businesses.
Now in its eight series, it will follow brand new faces as they set up their new ventures - from cocktail masterclasses to a boutique B&B, across a variety of locations in Spain, Portugal, Italy and France.
However, this time the show will focus on the current cost of living crisis as Brits seek relief elsewhere.
Fans of the show don't have long to wait either as it will be back on screens on Monday January 2nd.

It will air over seven weeks as viewers will be introduced to new expats during the 35-episode run.
The first episode will a family from Lancashire get the keys to their new beachside bar in Spain.
While in France, a Manchester couple snap up a complex of holiday lets, and two Yorkshire restauranteurs bring a taste of the North to rural Portugal.
The seventh series is still available to watch on Channel 4's streaming service All4.
