Sex and The City star Kim Cattrall reveals heartbreak over death of beloved mum
SEX And The City legend Kim Cattrall has revealed her mum Shane has passed away, aged 93.
The actress, 66, shared the news on her social media, writing: "Shane Cattrall 1929 - 2022. Rest in peace Mum."
Alongside the heartbreaking post, Kim, who played Samantha Jones in the iconic TV show, shared a series of pictures of her and her mother.
The snaps spanned the years, from her as a child with her mum, to present day.
The star last shared a photo of herself with Shane on Mother's Day, writing: "Happy Mum’s Day Mum. 93 Years young"
And in February she paid tribute to her mother as she celebrated her birthday.

Kim penned: "Happy 93rd B’day Mum! We’re so lucky to still have you with us."
It comes after Kim suffered heartbreak five years ago with the death of her brother, Chris.
Kim appealed for help on her social media at the time when her younger sibling went missing.
She later updated her followers with the sad news of his passing.
