A COME Dine with Me contestant lost their temper and threw their desert out the window in a shocking classic episode.

The Channel 4 cooking programme is known for putting contestants under pressure.

But it seems one participant just couldn't handle the heat in the kitchen.

Fans have been left stunned on social media as a classic episode of the hit show has been posted.

In the clip, which has racked up over 80,000 likes on TikTok, chef Lee loses his temper.

"Oh that's smelling a bit, sorry," he says as he pulls his deserts from the oven.

"Oh I think I've burnt that one," he mutters as he inspects the dishes.

However, his temper reached boiling point as he appeared to burn his hand.

He then flung open the kitchen window and fired the desert into the garden.

The show's narrator Dave Lamb poked fun at Lee's mishap as he told viewers: "As the creme brûlée cools off in the garden, the temperature in the kitchen is on full whack."

While his guests sat at the dinner table overhearing the commotion, one asked: "Lee did you want a hand?"

He replied that he was "fine" but then could be heard shouting "ouch" as he appeared to burn himself again.

His patience was waning after another guest asked him how long until the starter was ready.

"Don't worry your little head, you'll get it when you like, when it's ready," he answered.

Lee's hosting manner left them all less than impressed as one guest said: "If this is was in a restaurant I'd have walked out ages ago."

While they waited on their main course another participant joked and asked the group if they "should ring for a takeaway".

Unfortunately for Lee he achieved the lowest score in the history of Come Dine with Me.
