EMMERDALE fans claim Noah Dingle has had a "personality transplant" as he steps up to be a stepdad to Amelia's baby.

And despite not being the infant's real dad, he has stepped up to the mark.

While the real dad, Samson Dingle, declared that he wanted nothing to do with baby Esther or Amelia.

Noah showed his authority by issuing his mum, Charity, a stark warning when she turned up to support him and Amelia at the Christening.

He said that she better not get into any more trouble and fans loved the changes in him and appreciated the "new" character.

However, some fans were not pleased with his changes in personality.

Taking to Twitter, one said: "I love the new Noah #Emmerdale."

Another wrote: "Noah’s personality transplant is absurd."

A third penned: "I'm liking this side to Noah he really has changed and cares about Amelia and her baby girl."

Noah appears world away from his character earlier in the year who was caught stalking Chloe.

He hid in her bedroom and stole her personal journal, all while trying to befriend her.

He was soon found out and was forced to face the music.

But now it seems he has finally turned a corner and majorly matured.
