Hollyoaks’ Chelsee Healey reveals her heartache after family death

HOLLYOAKS’ Chelsee Healey has shared her heartache after the death of her beloved grandmother.

The actress, 33, paid tribute to her late relation on Instagram last night, writing alongside a photograph of her nan June: “Heartbroke. Good night God bless Gran [heartbroken emojis].”

Doting mother-of-one Chelsee is very family orientated often sharing glimpses into her home life on social media.

When Chelsee starred on Strictly in 2013, supportive June told the : “You get a knot in your throat and your heart is racing.”

The entire family would watch together, and Chelsee’s mum Bev said: “We all end up crying in the audience when she takes to the stage. You don’t need to go on a diet – just send your daughter on Strictly! I can’t eat because I feel so sick waiting for her to perform.”

The sad news comes just months after Waterloo Road star Chelsee grieved for her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean.

Jake, 33, was killed in a car crash in Bodrum, Turkey, which left girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou in hospital with serious injuries.

Chelsee, 33, dated Jake back in 2020 but remained good friends with him after struggling to make a long distance romance last.

An insider told us at the time: “The news has understandably left Chelsee completely shaken.

“She knew Jake for a long time before they started seeing each other and things only ended because they lived too far apart.

“It’s obviously tragic news and Chelsee sends her condolences to all his family and friends.”
