Sam Ryder causes chaos on This Morning ‘breaking 20 rules’
EUROVISION star Sam Ryder caused chaos in the This Morning studio after "breaking 20 rules" while plugging his new album.
The singer joined Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond on Thursday to discuss the release of his album, There's Nothing But Space Man!
Sam, 33, could be seen asking for permission to talk into the camera before going on to ask viewers to stream his new songs.
The star - who rose to fame on Eurovision this year - admitted he was desperate to clinch the coveted Christmas Number 1 status.
He told fans at home: "Please help us out - grab this record before midnight tonight, download it on Amazong or iTunes. Let's make this happen."
However, after plugging the album, he quickly realised he may have broken TV rules by advertising his album for Christmas Number 1.

Dermot, 49, joked: "I'm sure we've just broken like 20 rules by doing that," as Sam replied: "Yes, we have, we absolutely have."
Putting his hands up to his throat in a pulling motion, Sam joked: "I can see people going like this..."
Fans took to Twitter to also hit back against Sam breaking telling rules by plugging his tracks, saying it was "me, me, me".
"Sam: ME ME ME ME ME," one fan hit out, as another chimed in to agree: "Sam Ryder, yawn."
But others hit back they were huge fans of the singer, with one saying: "I’m a pessimist but Sam Ryder's positivity is contagious."
"Lots of Twitter users triggered by Sam Ryder's positivity and optimism I see. How sad," a second hit back.
"So glad for Sam Ryder and his success he really is a gentleman and a genuinely lovely guy hope he gets number one," a third added.
It comes after Sam revealed he's battling a growing workload with gritted teeth after dislocating his shoulder and breaking a toe.
After releasing his debut album There’s Nothing But Space, Man! last week, he has been a very busy man.
The Essex-born singer has soldiered on despite his injuries and has been travelling up and down the country to see fans.
He put on surprise performances, including a huge show at GAY Heaven in London over the weekend.
An insider said: “Sam is the definition of a trooper. At the weekend he dislocated his shoulder and since then it’s popped out twice.
“He then ended up breaking his toe in Liverpool. Sam is completely in the wars. It hasn’t stopped him though, and so far he’s done eight gigs and ten signings with a broken toe and a bad shoulder.”
