The Traitors fans left stunned at shock brutal twist
FANS of The Traitors have been left stunned at the announcement of a shocking twist on the BBC reality show.
The BBC One show has become the latest reality TV hit and has proved a talking point amongst viewers online.
Fans are now set to be treated to another twist in the tale as a teaser clip for the next episode promised an explosive ending.
Both Amanda and Wilfred have been playing the game as the hidden traitors amongst the rest of the cast and have so far remained undetected in their battle to stay in the game and win £120,000.
Having been able to 'murder' characters from the comfort of their own private chambers, the game is set to change as Amanda and Wilfred are informed they must 'murder in plain sight'.
The teaser did not delve into any further detail but has set Twitter alight with excitement over the twist and just exactly what it entails.

One fan exclaimed: "A murder in plain sight??? I cannot wait."
Another overjoyed fan added: "Murder in plain sight? I can't wait for this new phase of tension..."
A third fan was left utterly shocked at the revelation, saying: "OH.... MY LORD. Murder in plain sight??? That's gonna set off a whole barrel of fireworks.... unfortunately we must have to wait until Thursday to see it all go down."
"I can't stop thinking about the murder in plain sight! That's gonna be a little bit of iconic telly that is my luvs," penned a fourth, as a fifth said: "Murder in plain sight - very interesting! This series just gets better."
So far, the players have only managed to uncover one traitor in their bid to find out who they are.
Alyssa, one of the original three traitors, was cruelly eliminated after she was double-crossed by her fellow traitor Wilfred.
During the latest episode of the show, fans were all left saying the same thing about 72 year old contestant, Andrea, after she broke down in tears.
The latest instalment of the new BBC One reality favourite saw 72 year old Andrea break down in tears after a fellow player accused her of being a traitor in front of the rest of the group.
She defended herself tearfully, saying: "Ok, I'm giving my best, I'm doing absolutely what I can.
"Its, erm, excuse me, I'm absolutely doing what I can."
Andrea's emotions took over as she struggled to get her words out.
She continued: "I just couldn't be a traitor, I'm sorry, I just couldn't."
