Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss death updates — Ellen DeGeneres’ DJ mourned by wife in heartbreaking new post

STEPHEN "tWitch" Boss' wife shared a touching photo of the pair one week after his tragic death.

Allison Holker posted a selfie with tWitch, along with the heartbreaking caption: "My ONE and ONLY Oh how my heart aches. We miss you so much."

His mother, Connie Boss Alexander, turned to social media to express gratitude to supporters for their prayers in a post on her Instagram Stories, as memorials and tributes to The Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ continue to pour in.

She also shared a photo from a FaceTime call along with the caption: "Oh if only I could FT to heaven…"

Last week, tWitch reportedly checked into a motel close to his home, and the next day was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The dancer, DJ, and actor reportedly died from suicide.

    Actor and TV personality Mario Lopez has added to the tributes for tWitch on social media.

    He  of the two performing viral dances together on Access Daily.

    Mario added, "Being on @TheEllenShow numerous times throughout the years I got to know Twitch pretty well. Such a nice & sweet guy.

    Always happy...You never know what’s going on in someone else’s life. Some of the “happiest” people are fighting daily battles behind closed doors. God Bless…"

  • tWitch did not appear to be upset upon arrival at motel

    According to TMZ on Monday morning, tWitch checked into a motel not far from his Los Angeles residence.

    He didn’t seem to be in any form of trouble or to be overtly upset about anything, according to motel staff members who were interviewed by the site.

    When tWitch didn’t show up to check out of his motel room at 11am the next morning, staff checked on him only to find his body in his room.

    The employees said that nobody heard gunfire at any time while tWitch was staying there, which is plausible given the motel’s layout—it has separate apartments, and the building is shaped like a U, per .

    Today host Carson Daly choked back his emotions and tears during a live TV segment about the death of his friend, Stephen “tWitch” Boss.

    TWitch took his life on Tuesday morning in a Los Angeles motel roomat the age of 40.

    On Thursday morning, Today aired a segment on tWitch, his career, life and legacy.

    After the clips of the beloved dancer aired, the hosts talked about tWitch’s legacy. 

    Hoda chimed in: “This is so shocking. Carson, you were close to him.” 

    “I loved him,” he said, as he cleared his throat. 

    “As advertised, 50,000 watt smile. This was really hard to wrap your head around because so many people close to tWitch tried to figure out ‘What was it? What happened?'”

    DJ Stephen 'tWitch' Boss reportedly left behind a suicide note at the LA hotel where his body was found according to TMZ.

    According to Law enforcement tWitch's note, was an unclear reference to struggles he faced in the past

    In an interview with Entertainment Tonight shared on , the cast of pro dancers on Dancing with the Stars spoke about tWitch and who he was to them.

    Pro Emma Slater said: "I don't have enough good words to say about tWitch. Just the positive impact he had on people. I was in complete shock and I think just the sheer sadness of how this happened really made people understand worldwide just how fragile life is and to tell each other you love each other and to really check in."

    "We've always crossed paths with tWitch," said pro dancer Sasha Farber, "and he is... was the nicest guy ever."

    Tyler Perry opened up in a video he posted to  about his own mental health issues.

    Perry said he, like the rest of the world, was shocked by tWitch’s passing, who died by suicide.

    He added that he’s also battled mental health struggles and attempted suicide.

    Perry added it doesn’t make sense to a lot of people and encouraged those “going through the darkness” to reach out for help.

    A video of tWitch dancing with his son has gone viral on  after his death.

    The video shows the two joyfully dancing on The Ellen Show, back when tWitch was the resident DJ and producer.

    Talking about the conversation they once had with him. The thing is – it’s all true. It’s all real.

    Those who knew him are not trying to make this tragedy about themselves. They are just trying to convey to you who Twitch was.

    He made everything about you. He made you feel like the most important person in the world.

    And he did this for everybody.”

    The user wrote: "tWitch was so much more than ‘Ellen’s DJ’. I still remember watching this performance on tv and being OBSESSED."

    A fan commented and said "Me too! He was my favorite SYTYCD contestant."

  • Good Morning America’s Jennifer Ashton opens up about husband’s suicide, conclusion

    She continued, "When things are at our worst... a non-suicidal mind will say: This is so painful, this is the low point, this can't last forever.

    "I have to hope and think that tomorrow may be better.

    "A suicidal mind at those low points will say: This pain is unbearable, tomorrow it may be a million times worse. I can't handle any more pain, therefore I have to get out now."

    Dr Ashton, author of Life After Suicide: Finding Courage, Comfort & Community After Unthinkable Loss, said that perspective helped her come to accept the tragedy.

    "It doesn't mean that they don't love their loved ones," she said.

    "It doesn't mean that they are not appreciative of the things that are going right in their lives.

    "It just means that in that moment, they're affected by this very dangerous and irrational way of thinking."
