Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden reveals major change to show’s new spin-off series
AMANDA Holden has revealed a huge change for the new spin-off series of Britain's Got Talent.
The ITV flagship programme will be granted a sister show, Britain's Got Talent The Ultimate Magician, to air soon.
Yet judge Amanda, 51, has told how a few famous faces will be missing - these being hosts Ant and Dec and head judge Simon Cowell.
Instead, top Vegas magician Penn Jillette, one half of duo Penn and Teller, will be keeping his BGT seat warm.
Talking of the switch up, Amanda told : "Penn stood in for him [Simon] and in a lot of ways was a better choice for this special because you had someone that knew what they were talking about!
"Every time an act came on he told me the history of the act, where the act came from, who invented it, how it has evolved, who was the first person to do it and then told me about Vegas, his residency and his own background.

"He's a fascinating man."
She then told how fellow magician and BGT spin-off show presenter Stephen Mulhern would be fronting the show, ahead of Ant and Dec.
Meanwhile, Amanda is known for showing off her sexy outfits on and off screen.
This week she went bra-free as she kept snug in a chic cream outfit.
Today, she gushed over her love of sequins as she flashed her bra in a festive dress.
As BGT airs, she often thrills fans with her sexy attire, leaving nothing to the imagination.
Each series, her skimpy dresses are one of the biggest talking points, not least as some viewers deem them too risqué for a family show.
This year, Amanda promised to keep her wardrobe racy for the fifteenth year of the ITV hit - despite the torrent of complaints they receive.
She revealed: "I am thinking more rubber. I enjoyed wearing latex in the audition, and I am thinking more latex in their lives. More latex, and more sweating."
Amanda's wardrobe defiance comes after she sparked hundreds of complaints after wearing a low-cut dress that fans claimed showed her nipples on the show in 2020.
Ofcom said there were 277 complaints about the show, with 235 of them related to Holden’s dress.
Despite the controversy, Amanda has never been censored by either Ofcom or ITV.
A source said: "There has never been any diktat from above about what she can or can’t wear."
