Amanda Owen breaks silence after ex husband Clive’s spin-off show replaces Our Yorkshire Farm
AMANDA Owen has broken her silence after her ex husband Clive's new show has replaced Our Yorkshire Farm.
Channel 5 announced earlier this year they wouldn't be renewing the much-loved farming documentary series.
It comes after Amanda and Clive announced that they had made the decision to separate.
Clive and son Reuben now have their own TV show together, called Beyond the Farm.
It follows them as they embark on a digging business together.
The first episode saw the father and son duo take on their first job - which involved digging a series of pools in Cumbria.
Throughout the series viewers will get to see how the teenager’s unique childhood has prepared him for adult life and starting a business alongside his dad, best mate Tom, and girlfriend Sarah.
And now Amanda, 48, has shared her first update since the programme started.
Taking to her Twitter account, the TV star shared images of her daughters at night on the Yorkshire farm.
Posting the snaps, Amanda wrote: "👫👫 The stars at night. ✨ ✨ ✨."
Fans commented on her post complimenting the snaps and mentioned Clive and Reuben's new show.
"How lovely. Really enjoying what Reuben has been up to Amanda. You gave him amazing wings to fly. He's a great lad. Well done," said one fan.
Another said: "Sending hugs to you all lovely photos of the girls."
"Fantastic photos, miss the program so much," said a third.
While a fourth posted: "Loved the new program with Clive and Reuben xx."
Despite being snubbed from the new programme, Channel 5 has promised to still work with Amanda.
The broadcaster's factual boss Daniel Pearl told the Daily Mirror: "The Owens have become everyone’s favourite farming family and millions have enjoyed watching their unique way of life.
"It’s fantastic that we can now all follow Reuben and Clive on their next adventure.”
He added: "We remain absolutely committed to the whole wonderful Owen family and hope to announce new projects with Amanda very soon.”
