She may be one of the longest-standing and most experienced villain in Walford but Janine has never been able to escape the consequences of her actions.
For months, the blonde bombshell portrayed by departing actress Charlie Brooks has plotted against Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) to keep her partner Mick by her side.
Unfortunately for her, there won't be enough scheming for her to throw Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) off her scent.
Coming up on Christmas morning, Shirley is determined to expose Janine for who she really is but still has to fully put two and two together.

The Walford tough woman heads to The Vic alongside Linda to make peace with Mick (Danny Dyer).
But Janine is thrown into a panic when Jada Lennox (Kelsey Calladine-Smith) makes her return and she's determined to keep her away from Linda.

Actor Danny Dyer was revealed to be leaving the show after making his debut in 2013.
The soap star filmed his last scenes weeks ago, seemingly jumping to his character's apparent death.
His exit will be followed by Janine Butcher's own departure as Charlie Brooks has also made the decision to leave Albert Square once again.
