Pregnant Love Island star Shaughna Phillips ‘reveals’ her unborn baby’s gender

PREGNANT Love Island star Shaughna Phillips has ‘revealed’ her unborn baby’s gender.

The reality star shared the news that she was expecting her first child back in October.

Shortly after her announcement, Shaughna, 28, hinted at her baby’s gender as she went clothes shopping.

But now she’s revealed if she thinks that her unborn child is a boy or girl.

Shaughna said in her “I feel like it’s a boy now. I’m not entirely sure why.

“At the start of my pregnancy journey, I really wanted a girl – but I’m okay with having a baby boy.

“I’ve seen loads of articles on how the shape of your bump can give you insight into what the gender of your baby could be, but then other places say it’s a myth.

“One of my friends, who has two boys, said her pregnancies were so different and she was convinced she was having a girl the second time around.

“Then it turned out to be a boy, which made no sense because the pregnancies were polar opposites.

“While at first I really wanted a girl, now I feel as though the gender is kind of irrelevant because I’ll be happy with either.

“At the end of the day, I’m going to love them no matter what.”

Shaughna hinted that she was having a boy back in October.

Sharing a snap of a cute £230 Gucci cream shirt with a red and green striped collar, she said on her Instagram Story: “Went shopping today for baby stuff and just noticed my belly in the bottom.”

The beauty’s happy news came as a shock as she’s kept her boyfriend Billy out of the spotlight.

She recently opened up about her pregnancy struggles.

And it hasn’t been an easy journey for Shaughna, who has been suffering from anxiety and extreme heartburn.

She said: “I’ve had really bad anxiety and I think it must be because I’m pregnant.

“I feel like the world is a lot more dangerous. I suddenly don’t want anyone to leave the house – my boyfriend, my mum… I’m just terrified something is going to happen.”

Confessing how much she hates being alone, Shaughna told OK! Online: “Last week, my boyfriend told me he was going to go out to get petrol and that he’d ring me right back. I was like, ‘Alright, no worries’.

“But after about 20 minutes, I texted saying, ‘Are you alright?’ and he didn’t get back to me – obviously, because he was driving. It just really panicked me.”

Shaughna shot to fame on the sixth series of Love Island in 2020.
