A NEW duo looks set to form over the festive period in Emmerdale as they get to work on a brand new business venture.
Christmas will signal a time of change for the residents of the Dales this year as Bernice Blackstock, played by Samantha Giles, looks set to take on a whole new venture and she will be working with Bob Hope to make it happen.
Having discovered she is going through the menopause, Bernice sets about creating a series of changes in her life and seeks new opportunities in order for her to remain fulfilled.
After having a tough Christmas Day, where she feels everyone is joking about her menopause she senses a new project coming on and decides it is time for a change.
Initially deciding she wants to create something positive, Bernice makes plans to start a menopause support group for other women in a similar position.
At the same time as this, Bob faces a hardship of his own when his plans to DJ for a huge New Year's Eve party are made fun of as a result of his old, outdated tunes.

With Bernice attempting to drum up support for her group, she received a piece of news from Eric that could shape her future.
Eric and Brenda announce they are retiring and so Bernice sees the potential of taking over the reigns of the B&B from Eric.
