This Morning’s Holly and Phil reveal huge show shake-up as they start FOUR week Christmas break

THIS Morning's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield signed off their final live show of the year today.

The presenters don't usually appear on Fridays, which are fronted by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, but today was an exception.

After a fun-packed episode including festive dating advice from Carol Vorderman and a cooking demo from James Martin, who revealed he is undergoing surgery on his knee over the festive period, the pair announced they were going on holiday.

Alison and Dermot will hold the fort next week but it remains to be seen who will present in the This Morning studio over Christmas week.

On the big day itself, Holly and Phil will appear in a pre-recorded show before returning properly in the New Year.

ITV and the BBC both dropped their festive schedules this week.
