BBC Breakfast star hits back at Twitter troll after she’s told to ‘start wearing a fitted bra’
BBC Breakfast Nina Warhurst hit back at a Twitter troll after she was told to 'start wearing a fitted bra'.
The journalist, 42, replaced Sally Nugent on today's instalment of the programme.
One fan watching at home took to social media to send the broadcasters a nasty message.
After reposting a video from Tuesday's episode on her Twitter page, one vile troll replied to her tweet with: "Nina you looked dreadful this morning. Please start wearing a fitting bra..."
Nina hit back at the troll by reposting their message on her account.
She said: "Just leaving Alfred’s incredibly useful and progressive feedback here.
"Deepest thanks to all the Alfreds. Women would be lost without you."
Fans rushed to the post to send their support.
One wrote: "I just can't get my head around the logic of someone who thinks sending a message like that is ok? I mean - do they go around criticising people at work? In the supermarket?"
Another said: "I'm horrified at the abuse anyone in the public eye is subject to. Your response is far more polite than he deserves. Please feel free to dress however makes you feel comfortable. Just keep smiling."

"Wow. I don’t know you put up with this, let alone handle it with such grace x," a third chimed in.
This morning Sally Nugent disappeared from BBC Breakfast - and was replaced by Nina.
Sally hosts the show alongside Jon Kay every Monday to Wednesday.
Nina and Jon kicked off the show by discussing the most recent headlines, with one topic of debate being Bake Off.
Matt Lucas, 48, dramatically quit the Channel 4 show last night.
Sally made it clear that she would be up for taking over the role.
Nina confessed: "I am always available for tasting cake...
"Just the cake eating bit."
