Strictly final date and time REVEALED as BBC announce Christmas schedule
BBC One have revealed the date and time for the final of Strictly Come Dancing.
After weeks of the dance smash jumping around the schedules due to clashes with the World Cup, the show will return to its rightful home of Saturday night to crown the winner.
The last episode of the current series will air Saturday 17th December at 7.05pm.
And it will be an epic event with a massive two-and-a-half hour running time.
The movie-length episode will wrap at 9.35pm.
It comes after the semi-final was moved for the football and will now air on Sunday December 11th.

The results for the semi final will air on Monday December 12th.
Last week's quarter final also shifted around in the schedules, with the musicals week performances airing on Friday December 2nd, with the results showing the following night on Saturday December 3rd.
Many fans were concerned this could mean the all-important finale would also not air in its usual Saturday night slot.
When the BBC announced the move for the semi-final, fans flooded the show's instagram account.
"If the final isn’t on a Saturday, I will make it my mission to burst every football I see for the rest of my life," one fumed.
"Move the football not Strictly!" a second ranted.
"Nooooooo stop bloody changing it ffs. I like my Saturday Strictly nights," echoed a third.
Countryfile cameraman Hamza Yassin is currently the favourite to win the competition.
He and his partner Jowita Prsystal have odds of 8/13 according to BetVictor.
