The Big Quiz: Coronation Street vs Emmerdale cast: Who is appearing in the soap gameshow?

ONCE again, Emmerdale and Coronation Steet will put their knowledge to the test in The Big Soap Quiz.

Hosted by Stephen Mulhern, the quiz show will see cast members from ITV's top soaps battle it out to find out which team knows their soap best.

Who is in The Big Quiz: Coronation Street vs Emmerdale line-up?

Tensions are rising as cast members from Coronation Street and Emmerdale are going head-to-head to find out who knows their soap the best.

Stephen Mulhern hosts the yearly show-down between stars from ITV's biggest soaps.

Teams will test their knowledge in rounds including the past Year In Soap, their colleagues' social media presence in Soapstars Off Set, and their musical ears with ‘Singalong a Soapstar’. 

There are also surprises in store with two ‘Secret Soapstars’ to be identified from visual clues alone.

Coronation Street

Captain of the Coronation Street team is, once again, Jack P Shepherd.

Jack has played the character David Platt on the show since 1997.

Joining him in 2023's quiz is Channique Sterling-Brown, who plays Dee-Dee Bailey on Corrie.

Channique is a fairly new addition to the cast having joined in 2022.

Also on the Corrie team is Tony Maudsley, who plays George Shuttleworth.

Well-known for his role in Benidorm, Tony joined the Coronation Street cast in 2020.

Emmerdale

Heading up the Emmerdale team is returning captain Mark Charnock, who plays Marlon Dingle.

Mark has been a regular character on Emmerdale since 1996, joining the cast after brief stints in Coronation Street.

Also on the Emmerdale team will be Natalie Ann Jamieson, who has played Amy Wyatt since 2019.

Joining them is Kevin Mathurin who joined the cast as Charles Anderson in 2020.
