Tina stepped in for Naga, who usually presents BBC Breakfast on Thursdays and Fridays with Charlie.

Hours before stepping into the studio, the journalist had to take to Instagram to hit back at claims that she's expecting.

Sharing a stunning snap of herself in black low-cut dress, Tina said: "When presenting BBC Breakfast a few months ago I was alerted (as happens in the online world) to the fact that people were speculating about whether or not I was pregnant again 😂.

"The answer is no I am not expecting a second child!

"But I am someone who had a baby, and whose body did not 'snap back' immediately.

"In fact it may never 'snap back' and be the same as it was before childbirth but that’s also normal!!!"

She continued: "I would like to have the body I had before and have recently restarted my relationship with fitness so we’ll see how it goes - but if this is the cost for having a little piece of my heart toddling around the world every day, I’d do it a thousand times over.

"And even though I work in an industry where it may count against me.

"Anyway, when @alex_cameron first shared this photo with me, I told her I loved it apart from my body and my instinct was to crop it. But I changed my mind so here it is.

"This is ALL OF ME, post C-section, 18 months on. (See you @bbcbreakfast sofa from 6 tomorrow)."

Fans rushed to the comments section to share the love.

"Very well said," one wrote.

A second chimed in: "Strong post."

A third added: ";Real and absolutely stunning 🙌❤️."

Tina, who joined the BBC in 2007, gave birth to a daughter in 2021.
