Fans of the ITV soap opera have seen Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) opt to be a surrogate for Esther and Mike following their desire to have a child.
After agreeing to go ahead with the pregnancy with boyfriend Aaron but keep it a secret from everyone has not been without its issues.
Only the pair’s flatmates Amy and Jacob knew about the pregnancy before it all took a shocking turn.
However things took a devastating turn when Summer lost the baby and suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage.
Esther and Mike had been excited for the young couple to move in with them so that Summer could have an easy pregnancy leaving Summer concerned as to what she should say.

But Summer feels trapped having already accepted the cash and spend it on Aaron’s dad’s rehab.
Deciding to keep the miscarriage a secret, Summer acts normal around her flatmates.
However, Amy Barlow soon makes a shocking discovery.
When cleaning the flat, Amy notices that Summer’s morning sickness tablets are in the bin.
With Summer having suffered badly, it surprises Amy to see they have been thrown away.
When Amy confronts her, Summer realises the game is up and is forced to admit that she lost the baby over a week ago.
