BOY George has revealed how he really feels about I’m A Celebrity after refusing to take part in a major element of the show.

The Culture Club singer took to his Instagram page to hit out against the “many rules” he had to follow during his time on the show.

Boy George, 61, snubbed his post-exit interview with ITV yesterday and planned to fly home ahead of the grand final this weekend.

The Karma Chameleon singer has since opened up about his feelings towards I’m A Celeb, as he hit out against not having “freedom”.

The star returned to the ITV jungle studio to “answer questions submitted by fans” in a video posted on Thursday afternoon.

Boy George said to the camera: “Hi, it’s me, Boy George. I’m back in the jungle to answer some of your lovely questions.”

He went on to read the first one, which asked: “What was your biggest craving while in the jungle?”

Not holding back, George then hit out: “My biggest craving in the jungle was freedom, was not being told what to do.

“You know, that’s been the most challenging thing for me, having so many rules. So I was glad to get out and have a shower.”

It comes after Boy George was “refused permission to fly home” after asking show bosses to skip out on the I’m A Celebrity final.

The singer is said to have been told he must remain in Australia until the show ends this weekend.

Boy George was refused permission to return to the UK from Down Under after expressing he is “desperate” to get back, said .

Sources have said that despite his pleas, George remains contractually obliged to remain in Australia until the show ends.

An insider told the publication after George’ exit last night: “He wanted to go home immediately, he doesn’t want to hang around.

“If he had his way he would be on a plane already but he wasn’t allowed to do that.

“The fact he has to stay in Australia for days now is an annoyance to him, he isn’t fussed about sticking around for the final but that’s what he has to do.

“He’s travelled across the world his entire career and has seen Australia before so there’s really no reason for him to be here, especially as he isn’t concerned with catching up with his co-stars on the other side.”

It comes after Boy George dropped a massive hint he’s fuming at show bosses – as he failed to turn up for his post-show interviews.

He became the fourth campmate to bid farewell to the jungle after Charlene White, Scarlette Douglas and Sue Cleaver.
