I’m a PR expert – these are the I’m a Celeb stars set to earn millions… and the ones who’ll be left most disappointed
GOING into the jungle can be a very lucrative move.
Babatunde Aleshe is the latest contestant to be voted out of I’m a Celebrity, but in terms of moneymaking his journey has just begun.
Brand and culture expert Nick Ede says these stars are a dream for TV and film producers and advertisers alike - and they are all willing to cough up for the right star.
Many stars on I’m a Celeb have come out of the show and earned millions - like Katie Price, who went on to land a reality series, or Kerry Katona, who bagged and subsequently lost a £250,000 Iceland deal.
Aside from ITV fees - which can reach up to the hundreds of thousands - after the experience, celebs are in demand and the smartest will capitalise on their moment.
From Hollywood roles to lucrative endorsements, Nick says there are some clear frontrunners out of the remaining contestants.

Jill Scott – £2m
Footballer Jill has won over the nation with her warm personality.
Nick says the Lioness’s off-pitch skills will have advertisers wanting more.
Jill opened her Manchester coffee shop Boxx2Boxx in April 2021 with fiancee Shelley Unitt.
Nick said: "Jill is the real winner here and I can see her making millions from her appearance in the jungle.

“I am sure coffee brands will love to take her on as she runs her coffee shop and queues will be going round the block to get a glimpse of her.”
Nick added a glittering career as a pundit could also help Jill tot up a healthy bank balance.
“As a panellist on game shows, she'll show off her brilliant sense of humour, and as a pundit in sports her excellent grasp of football and other sports,” he said.
Owen Warner - £1m
The Hollyoaks star could have a LA calling in no time - thanks to his hunky physique.
Nick reckons that if Owen teams up with his two lookalike brothers Louie and Jake, there cold be no stopping the Warner clan.
He said: “His fame has been propelled into the big time and with his Hollywood pin-up looks he will go on to doing a lot of modelling.
“Perhaps spin off shows with his two brothers.
“I am sure E4 will scoop him up for a dating show, whether that's Celebs Go Dating or could he be the new bachelor for a reboot?”
Owen’s clean-living persona could also be a big hit across the pond and on Instagram.
Nick said: “I can also see him earning a lot from his social media and using his fan base to develop a fitness influencer career too, just like Chris Hemsworth has done in Hollywood.
“Speaking of Hollywood, I can see him swapping Hollyoaks for LA and auditioning for some major roles too.”
Seann Walsh – £200k
Former Strictly contestant Seann could be back in the good books after that famous smooch with pro dancer Katya.
The comic kissed married Katya behind his girlfriend’s back in 2018 when he appeared on the dancing contest.
Seann told his fellow jungle mates how the incident left his career .
Nick said: “The show has given people a glimpse into Seann’s world and life.
“We will see him back on comedy panel shows and a tour in the next few years.”
Scarlette Douglas – £500k
A Place in the Sun presenter Scarlette has already proved she has hosting chops - but could a cookery show be on the horizon?
After being voted out, Scarlette told GMB hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid she had developed some interesting new tastes.
She said: "To be honest, I think kangaroo sausage is my new fave type of sausage!"
And Nick think she could capitalise on her kitchen fights.
He said: “She has the personality and looks to shine and she's already a successful presenter with three TV series she hosts.
“She will get some nice fashion endorsements and continue to host more and more shows, potentially stepping away from the property side and doing some cooking too.
“She’s got such star quality that I think she will start to make a lot of money as the whole nation fell in love with her.”
Matt Hancock – £500k
Former health secretary Matt may be leaving his political career behind and headed for panto instead.
Nick says he makes the ideal baddy and has a lust for fame.
He said: “He is a love-to-hate character, a pantomime villain.
“So perhaps that’s where he will end up - treading the boards in a local pantomime.”
The MP also has his memoir coming out and has filmed a series of Celebrity SAS.
Nick said: “I don’t really think this PR spin to redeem himself has worked to his advantage, but I do think it's been a clever way for him to steer himself out of politics and into the public eye in a different way.”
Babatunde Aleshe - £500K
Comic Babatunde will see his gigs and TV work get more popular and in-demand, predicts Nick.
He said: “I can see Babatunde doing really well from this.
“He has a tour in 2023 which I am sure will sell out and he will add more dates."
Aside from comedy, the Celebrity Gogglebox star could be set to appear on panel shows and even host some of his own programmes - just like his pal Mo Gilligan.
Mike Tindall - £1.5m
The former rugby star’s budgie smugglers had us laughing - and will have him laughing all the way to the bank.
Nick believes Royal Family member Mike will cash in on his love of tiny speedos.
He said: “Mike is one of the jungle's most likeable characters and this can and will make him a lot of money.
“I can see him releasing a book, and definitely designing a new collection of budgie smugglers just in time for summer!
“He is set to make over a million for sure.”
Mike already earns more than £300,000 on endorsement deals with Land Rover and Rolex so he is likely to pick up more.
But Nick also believes he could take a side step into fronting documentaries.
He said: “I can see him being on many TV shows and perhaps hosting an adventure documentary like Zac Efron and his Down to Earth series.”
And those who will miss out
Charlene White
Nick believes TV anchor Charlene is already respected a presenter - and will keep doing what she’s doing.
He said: “Although she was first out Charlene is a much-loved presenter and host.
“I can see her back anchoring Loose Women and also authoring documentaries as well.
“I think the show has softened her image and made her much more approachable.”
Sue Cleaver
Corrie actress Sue has boosted her popularity and might pick up a few extra media gigs.
Nick said: “She will be seen more on TV other than Corrie, she will perhaps become a regular on Loose Women.
“I can also see her being a panellist and guest on chat shows and TV quiz shows too, with her sharp sense of humour and big personality.”
Chris Moyles
Chris could capitalise on his six stone weight loss, but Nick thinks this is unlikely.
He said: “He will go back to Radio X where has a very successful show.
“I don’t think he will do anything more as he hasn’t really endeared himself to the audiences.
“The only thing I can see him doing is perhaps promoting his weight loss and releasing a book on that.”
Boy George
While Boy George might be offered brand deals - he is not likely to take them.
Nick said: “Boy George is a big personality and he will tour and bring in a new demographic of fans.

“I don’t think he will earn any more than he is, as he does very well with royalties.
“He will be offered a few endorsements - but knowing his personality type I doubt whether he will take them.”
