An overview for the series explains: "Spanning 25 years, Kaleidoscope is an all-new anthology series following a crew of masterful thieves and their attempt to crack a seemingly unbreakable vault for the biggest payday in history.

"Guarded by the world’s most powerful corporate security team, and with law enforcement on the case, every episode reveals a piece of an elaborate puzzle of corruption, greed, vengeance, scheming, loyalties and betrayals."

The series aims to keep viewers hooked and talking by presenting the show in a unique non-linear series whereby any of the thriller's episodes can be watched in any order and still be understood by the viewers.

Each episode will be uniquely named after a colour such as Blue and Violet before culminating in a big finale called White.

As a result of its structure and the genre being a thriller mystery, depending upon the order in which you view the episodes, it is likely that fans will have different theories and concepts based upon the order in which they viewed the show.

The drama will star Giancarlo Esposito, Paz Vega, and Tati Gabrielle.

The show is loosely based on the real life story of when seventy billion dollars in bonds disappeared in Manhattan during Hurricane Sandy.

The eight episodes in the show will span from 24 years before the event up until six months after.

Kaleidoscope debuts on Netflix on January 1st.
