Boy George sparks feud rumours as he ‘demands to fly home to UK immediately and snub co-stars and the grand final’
BOY George has been "refused permission to fly home" after asking show bosses to skip out on the I'm A Celebrity final, sources have claimed.
The Culture Club singer - who became the fourth celebrity to be evicted from the jungle last night - is said to have been told he must remain in Australia until the show ends this weekend.
Boy George, 61, was refused permission to return to the UK from Down Under after expressing he is "desperate" to get back, the claims.
The Karma Chameleon star - who snubbed ITV's post-exit interviews after I'm A Celeb - wants to skip out on the finale this weekend.
Sources have said that despite his pleas, George remains contractually obliged to remain in Australia until the show ends.
An insider told the publication after George' exit last night: "He wanted to go home immediately, he doesn't want to hang around.

"'If he had his way he would be on a plane already but he wasn't allowed to do that.
"The fact he has to stay in Australia for days now is an annoyance to him, he isn't fussed about sticking around for the final but that's what he has to do.
"He's travelled across the world his entire career and has seen Australia before so there's really no reason for him to be here, especially as he isn't concerned with catching up with his co-stars on the other side."
The Sun Online has contacted George's representative and ITV for comment.

It comes after Boy George dropped a massive hint he's fuming at show bosses - as he failed to turn up for his post-show interviews.
He became the fourth campmate to bid farewell to the jungle after Charlene White, Scarlette Douglas and Sue Cleaver.
Unlike his former co-stars, he waved goodbye to the show and didn't come back for interview after being evicted.
A source told: "He is probably going to wait until next week to talk to the press. He's got lots to say so it will be worth the wait."

George is the highest paid star in the show's history earning £500,000, and viewers were shocked to see him leave so early.
He landed in the bottom two alongside Chris Moyles but received the lowest number of public votes to be sent home.
Speaking afterwards to hosts Ant and Dec, George said: "I am sort of ready. I've had an amazing time I did a lot of things I never thought I would do. I'm sort of excited to see my sister."
On his survival tactics in the jungle, he said: "I had to forget who I was the whole time I was in here, I had to let it go. I just had to get over it.
"I just had to say, 'I'm in the jungle, I've had no control'.
"Being really honest, I am happy to go today. It's not something I thought I would ever do but it's a lot tougher than I thought.
