Mastermind viewers rip into ‘appalling’ episode – but who’s in the wrong?
MASTERMIND viewers were left feeling disappointed at the latest edition and blasted a sereies of mistakes by one contestant.
The BBC Two featured four more hopefuls that took their place in the infamous hot seat to face off a number of tough questions.
Clive Myrie was on hosting duties as the hopefuls attempted to quiz their way through both their specialist subject round and a round of general knowledge.
However fans of the quiz show were left feeling deflated by one contestant who failed to be able to correctly answer questions in his own chosen field.
Harry Hodson, a compliance manager, chose to answer questions of the feature films of David Lynch but fans were left less than impressed.
He managed to secure a rather weak 5 points in the specialist round before adding just another six in the general knowledge round to give him a total of 11.

But fans were quick to but the blame at the feet of the BBC.
One fan fumed: "How did Harry get through the selection process?"
Whilst another viewer remarked on the incredibly low scores, writing: "Appalling standard in #mastermind."
At the end of the show, the winning score was revealed to be just 22.
One enraged viewer seethed: "22 to win a #Mastermind heat? Wasn’t like that in my day."
Elsewhere, fans were not happy atone hopeful failing to get a certain question correct.
Asked about the character which actor Andy West famously portrayed, fans on Twitter were gobsmacked when the contestant did not know the answer.
One wrote: "How do you not know Adam West was Batman."
