Neighbours actor faces sexual assault charge after night out
FORMER Neighbours star Scott McGregor has been charged with sexual assault following a night out at a popular Australian bar.
The actor, who played Erinsborough cop Mark Brennan for nearly 1,000 episodes, committed an offence at St Kilda's Hotel Esplanade, in Melbourne, on February 20, according to reports.
The 41-year-old will appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in January.
Back in 2019 Scott was glassed by a dancer at a strip club just weeks after his wedding.
The actor was left with a cut lip after the alleged bust-up at Hollywood Showgirls.
Scott got involved in a verbal altercation with the woman at the Gold Coast nightclub.
The dancer was found guilty at a Magistrates' Court and released on a $1,000 good behaviour bond. She was also ordered to pay $80 for medical costs.

The incident happened just weeks after Scott got hitched to wife Bianka Voigt. The couple, who got engaged in 2016, have two young daughters together.
Scott first appeared in Neighbours in 2010, but left in 2011 to pursue other acting projects.
He returned to Ramsay Street in 2013 for a guest stint before coming back as a regular cast member in 2014. In total he starred in 940 episodes but was absent from the show's farewell episode, which featured Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan earlier this year.
