The Chase and Tipping Point pulled from air in major ITV schedule shake-up for World Cup
THE Chase and Tipping Point have been pulled from air in a major ITV schedule shake-up for the World Cup.
They will be forced off air because of the football tournament broadcasting on ITV.
The iconic quiz shows are facing a scheduling nightmare as the football competition begins in Qatar
Running from November 20 to December 8, the tournament will air on both ITV and the BBC - with the game shows' schedules in chaos because of it.
Tipping Point usually airs Monday to Friday at 4pm on ITV with Ben Shepherd hosting.
And The Chase follows at 5pm every weekdays hosted by Bradly Walsh.

However tonight neither gameshow will air on ITV.
Instead the channel will broadcast the Senegal vs Netherlands game from 3pm.
That means on Tuesday there will be an hour-long Tipping from 4pm to 5pm to catch-up on the missed episode.
Wednesday will see another shake-up as neither of the quiz shows will air on ITV again due to the broadcast of Spain vs Costa Rica game from 3:10pm to 6:15pm.

Thursday will see yet another change up as ITV will be showing the Portugal vs Ghana game instead of The Chase or Tipping Point.
Friday will also be same, as the Netherlands vs Ecuador game is broadcasted on ITV from 3:00pm to 6:05pm.
This comes after popular ITV soaps, Coronation Street and Emmerdale have been cancelled tonight as the World Cup causes chaos with the soap schedules.
