Changing Rooms star slams Stacey Solomon’s ‘grey’ home and begs to ‘give it a makeover’
CHANGING Rooms star Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has once again discussed his distaste for Stacey Solomon’s home interiors at Pickle Cottage.
TV presenter Stacey, who regularly gives fans a peek of her stylish home on Instagram, has been slammed for her choices by top interior decorator Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
Stacey shares her sprawling Essex £1.2 Million home, dubbed 'Pickle Cottage' with her husband Joe Swash as well as their children Harry, 15, Zachary, 14, Leighton, 10 Rex, 3 and one-year-old Rose.
Now, speaking in an exclusive chat with The Sun at the TV Choice Awards, Laurence delved deeper and said he’d like to give Loose Women star Stacey’s ‘grey’ home a makeover.
He said: “I’m sure she’s an absolutely lovely woman but I feel very strongly that there’s more to life than grey.

“I’d love to mount an intervention and while she’s out sunning herself in the Caribbean or whatever, I’d get a team to Pickle Cottage and show her what it should look like.”
Laurence rose to fame in the 90's appearing in the decorating show, Changing Rooms.
He continued: “I think we could film it and everyone would love it. I want to be caring.”
The Loose Women star, 32, moved into Pickle Cottage in April 2021 and has been busy transforming it into her dream home, regularly sharing progress with her legions of online followers.
The stylish mansion features a swimming pool as well as a games room which the DIY queen personally designed as a birthday present to her husband, whom she married in July 2022.
But despite her enthusiasm for home decoration, Laurence isn’t convinced.
He previously spoke to about her home, and said: “"Suddenly, everybody’s looking at coordinating with the likes of Posh and Becks to get the 'Stacey Solomon grey’ look. It’s incredibly cold,”
The design star added: "I want people to know how to create a warm, loving space in which they can recharge as well as feel safe and looked after."
