EastEnders fans left fuming just minutes into latest episode – complaining ‘it’s just not the same!’
EASTENDERS viewers were left fuming after fan-favourite character Kheerat Panesar leaves Albert Square.
Jaz Singh Deol - who plays Kheerat - revealed Thursday night's episode were his final scenes after three years on the BBC soap.
The actor, 33, joined back in 2019 alongside his on-screen family.
His character was last seen being escorted to jail by the police after confessing to the murder of Ranveer.
Viewers know that Kheerat is covering for his mum Suki who hit back at Ranveer for trying to rape her.
However, viewers are already missing Kheerat from their screens.
Taking to Twitter, one said: "I miss Kheerat Panesar so much."
Another wrote: "Kheerat. I’ve just cried my eyes out. I’m going to miss him man."
A third penned: "No Kheerat anymore. What are they doing with so many character losses feeling so empty nothing to look forward to in the show tonight."
Jaz took to Instagram to announce his departure from the soap with a selection of behind-the-scenes photos with the Panesar family.
He wrote: "Love you. love you all ... X"
His co-stars rushed to wish Jaz good luck in the future.
