Sir Trevor McDonald left squirming as Rachel Riley spells out VERY rude word on Countdown in low-cut dress
SIR Trevor McDonald was left squirming after Rachel Riley spelled out a VERY rude word on Countdown.
The journalist and broadcaster was the latest guest host on Countdown as it celebrates its 40th anniversary.
Each week for the last three weeks, a new temporary host has fronted the show in place of regular presenter Colin Murray.
On Mondays show, Sir Trevor took over proceedings and he may have got more than he bargained for.
During one of the early letters rounds, the contestants submitted their answers before Trevor asked Dictionary Corner if they could have done any better.
Guest Bobby Seagull appeared sheepish as he told Sir Trevor: “Well, if you get really excited…er… you might have…orgasms.”

As Bobby laughed awkwardly, Sir Trevor replied: “You might have what?” and poor Bobby had to repeat it.
The camera then panned to Rachel, 36 who had spelled out the word on the board and pulled an amused face.
Rachel looked incredible as ever on today’s show, wearing a floral patterned dress with polka dot sleeves which also featured a plunging neckline.
As the camera came back to Sir Trevor, he said: “I suppose that would get you excited” before giving an awkward chuckle.
Countdown viewers immediately took to Twitter to comment on the moment, with one writing: “That “orgasms” on Countdown was so awkward.”
Another added: “I had orgasms.”
It’s the second time in as many episodes that a rude word has come up on the show.
Last week, one of the contestants – who was also on today’s show – won points for the word ‘bonking’.
Countdown airs weekdays at 2.10pm on Channel 4.
