EastEnders’ Milly Zero quits BBC soap for ‘new challenges’
EASTENDERS star Milly Zero has revealed she's decided to quit the BBC soap to seek 'new challenges'.
The 23-year-old actress who plays Dotty Cotton, the granddaughter of iconic character Dot, took to Twitter to announce her departure.
Milly, who has already filmed her final scenes, wrote in a heartfelt message: "After 3 & a half years - I have decided that my journey with the icon that is Dotty Cotton has come to an end."
And it seems her decision was made after realising she needed to explore 'new challenges.'
Teasing viewers with her exit, Milly ended her announcement saying: "I can't wait for you all to watch her Exit, she goes out with a bang!"
Confirmation of Milly's decision to leave EastEnders comes soon after The Sun exclusively revealed her exit earlier this week.

And at the time, a source claimed that although Milly, who has played Dotty since 2019, has filmed her final scenes, the 'door is being left open for her return.'
Milly and the rest of the EastEnders cast were left devastated in April by the death of June Brown, 95, who played Dot Cotton for more than 30 years.
In a fitting tribute to the iconic actress, her character will receive a grand send off, which will air two weeks before Christmas.
Away from the cameras, Milly's appearance is world's apart from her onscreen character.
Pictured in August while on holiday in Turkey with her rapper boyfriend Efe Ibojie, Milly donned a Spanish-inspired cut out dress teamed with red lipstick.
