I'M A Celebrity star Boy George's close pal has revealed the two things that really rile the singer - and it doesn't bode well for Matt Hancock.

It's no secret Culture Club singer George isn't a fan of the former Health Secretary following his disastrous handling of the coronavirus pandemic, but there's a fundamental reason Matt isn't his cup of tea, according to author David Hodge.

Speaking to hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid on today's Good Morning Britain to promote his , David said: "There will be friction. There's two things that George doesn't particularly like and that's bigots and Tories.

"There will be a clash because I know how he feels about those issues."

While the shamed MP may be many things, including a Conservative politician, there's no evidence to suggest he's guilty of bigoted behaviour.

Campmates laid into Matt, who broke his own lockdown rules by snogging an aide last year.

But George, 61, was nowhere to be seen as Matt, 44, told them he was “in love”.

A show source said: “George walked away just before things started getting heated.

"He would’ve flipped his lid if he was sitting there listening to Matt’s frankly pathetic excuses.”

Tension is said to be rising between them, with our source saying the singer “really doesn’t like” him.

He revealed his mum, Dinah O’Dowd, 83, nearly died of Covid in the pandemic — and he could not visit her.

He even questioned whether he wanted to stay on the ITV show after Matt’s arrival.

George and Matt, who ate a camel’s penis, bagged 11 stars in their Bushtucker Trial on Friday’s show then celebrated awkwardly.

A source said: “George clearly has no intention of interacting with him.
