The judges praised her "fragility" and "vulnerability" but noted a mistake at the halfway point.

After the dance, Kym became tearful and apologised to Graziano for putting their chance at reaching Blackpool at risk.

Head judge Shirley told hger: "It did start off so beautifully.

"You did offer the wrong leg but you suddenly realised and you got on the right leg. But maybe it was because of that, you thought it was a big deal."

Anton Du Beke said: "There were a couple of problems but your top line has improved so much."

Before receiveing her scores, Kym broke down in tears again speaking to Claudia Winkleman.

She said: "I made some silly mistakes that I haven't made before I think it was the emotion of the night that got to me.

"It would be so good to dance at Blackpool next week. Not only for me but for Graz because he's never danced there before."

However, the judges still awarded her 31 out of a possible 40 points.

Kym dedicated her performance this weekend to her son Archie, who tragically passed away shortly after his birth in 2009.

Before taking to the stage, Kym, 46, said: "I feel like by doing this dance not only is it going to be in memory of Archie but it also hopefully might get people talking about their experiences because it is the right road to putting your life back together."

“But baby loss is a subject very close to my heart and something I have talked about many times, because the impact and the pain of that experience never leaves you.
